Defiance's varsity boys basketball team is currently ranked fifth in the Western Buckeye League standings as of February 7. Defiance has a 10-6 record and is currently behind Ottawa-Glandorf (14-2), Shawnee (15-2), Wapakoneta (12-6), and Elida (10-7) respectively. Defiance is 3-3 in WBL play; while Ottawa-Glandorf is 6-0, Shawnee is 5-1, Wapakoneta is 4-2, and Elida is 4-2 in WBL respectively.
