Division 2 Sectional Game for Defiance

Defiance's boys varsity basketball team will play in a Division 2 sectional game against the Maumee Panthers (5-18). The game is tomorrow Wednesday February 27 at 6:15 pm. Defiance will be hoping to get Tyrel Goings back into the rotation as he had missed seven games during the month of February with a knee injury. With Goings coming back, this will help both double-digit scorers Will Lammers and DJ Dobson. Maumee and Defiance have both played Anthony Wayne (D=L, M=L), Springfield (D=L, M=L), Napoleon (D=W, M=W), Wauseon (D=W, M=L), and Rossford (D=W, M=W). If Defiance wins they will play either Wapakoneta (13-9) or Kenton (14-8) on Friday March 1 at 8 pm.
