The Defiance boys basketball team were the Division 2 State Champions back in 2015, they were led by the Singleton brothers, Katwan who now plays for The University of Findlay and Kameron who plays for The University of Bluffton. The Bulldogs that year steamrolled anybody who got in their path, including 3 teams that were ranked inside the top 10 in the state. Fun fact, the championship game was featured on Sports Center due to an opposing player drawing a technical foul for hanging on the rim after a dunk under the 2 minute mark. That call took all of their momentum and gave it to Defiance. This was Defiance's first ever state championship appearance and victory, maybe we will see the Bulldogs back at The Schottenstein Center this year?
